Shared Tour: Accademia Galleries and Dorsoduro District Walking Tour
The tour will start with the Accademia Gallery, one of the most famous Venetian museums, located in the heart of the Dorsoduro in Venice, in Italy, at the foot of the Accademia Bridge.
During the visit to the Accademia Gallery, the guide will explain the main works housed inside the museum, offering an interesting overview of the Veneto and Venetian paintings from 1300 to 1700s: Bellini, Carpaccio, Giorgione, Tintoretto, Tiziano, Veronese.
After the visit to the Accademia Gallery, the tour continues with a guided walk through the Dorsoduro district, discovering Campo San Barnaba, the Ponte dei Pugni, and the St Sebastian area.
The itinerary in Dorsoduro will end in San Trovaso, where there is one of the last active squero in Venice, the small shipyard where gondolas, the symbol of Venice, are built.
