BMIT Terms & Conditions 
 
Booking & Reservations Procedures: Brian Moore International Tours requires a credit card number and billing address to request a reservation. Once a reservation has been made, the credit card will be charged a Non-Refundable deposit of $200 per person plus insurance. Any revisions made after this request are subject to a minimum $35 per person fee. If the requested hotel cannot be confirmed, a comparable alternate will be booked and there will be a 48 hour grace period to cancel without penalty. Any difference in nightly rate between the requested hotel and the accepted alternate hotel will be reflected in the final package price. If the alternate is not cancelled, deposit will be posted and penalties will apply - see cancel fees. Final payment by signed Brian Moore International Tours credit card form or bank draft is due 65 days prior to departure. For bookings made 65 days or less prior to departure from the U.S. we must have full payment with signed credit card form or bank draft in our office by 2pm within 1 day of the booking date or the booking will auto cancel. Other packages may also require full payment within 1 day.

Fees: All bookings will be assessed a $10 shipping fee. Bookings made, or payments received 21 days or less prior to departure from the U.S., will be assessed an additional $20 fee before documents will be issued. These fees are non-refundable.

Change Fees:
Before Final Documentation: $35 per person
After Final Documentation: $50 per booking + supplier fees

Cancellation Fees:
$200 per person if cancelled 65 or more days prior to travel*
50% of tour cost between 31 and 65 days prior to travel
75% of tour cost between 15 and 30 days prior to travel
100% of tour cost within 15 days prior to travel date
* plus charges of third parties including airline cancellation charges if applicable
Cancellations must be received in writing, mail, fax or email.

In addition to the above the following penalties apply: Rail passes and open rail tickets are subject to a 15-50% cancellation charge plus a $35 per person cancellation fee. The following are purchased by Brian Moore International Tours upon receipt of full payment and are non-refundable: airline tickets, car rentals, seat reservations, sleepers, couchettes, specialty night trains, Eurostar, theatre tickets, transfers, confirmed sightseeing.

Reservation Restrictions: Disabled travelers requiring special attention or treatment on the land portion of the tour must be reported to BMIT at time of booking. Any person who is unable to travel independently or who needs any type of assistance must be accompanied by a companion who is able to provide the required assistance. As our coaches are not equipped with wheelchair ramps, all tour members must be able to mount 3 or 4 steps into coach. BMIT is not responsible for denial of services by any of our suppliers.

Tour Membership: To promote an enriching travel experience, BMIT reserves the right to reject anyone whose conduct is incompatible with the interest of the tour group.

Open Vouchers: Open vouchers include Best Western Hotel Program, Discover Britain B&B Program and Irish B&B Program. There will be a $50 charge per booking on all returned unused open vouchers. Documents must be received within 30 days from travel to qualify for a refund. All pre-booked voucher accommodations are non-refundable.

Refunds: Notice for refund requests must be forwarded to Brian Moore International Tours by registered mail no later than 30 days from completion of the trip. All unused documents should be returned with the request. After this time no refunds, however valid, will be considered. Reservations cancelled directly with a hotel or another supplier do not qualify for a refund. Please note that there are no refunds for packages designated as non-refundable.

Photographs & Maps: Photographs show places in general geographic areas, but these places are not necessarily included in the tour. Maps shown on the tour pages are for general information and may not accurately reflect exact tour routings.

Hotels: Space is subject to availability. Rooms are assigned on a run-of-the-house basis by hotel management upon check in. Single rooms are usually smaller in size than twins or doubles and have one small bed. Triples are usually a standard twin/double plus a rollaway or sofa bed. While a hotel normally may offer a particular feature such as air conditioning, cannot guarantee that the service will be in operation at any given time and cannot be held responsible for any such lack of operation at the time of stay.

Hotel Classifications: Hotel classifications are based on Brian Moore International Tours' assessment and may not reflect opinions of other sources.

Meals: Meals are provided as specified in each tour program. Dinners in hotels are on a table d'hote basis

Visits, Entertainment and Other Features: BMIT reserves the right to substitute visits, entertainment and other features when establishments are closed or cannot be visited for reasons beyond our control.

Not Included: Any items of a personal nature including but not limited to: phone calls, tips, laundry, beverages, meals not stated, taxi and bus fares, passport and visa fees.

Prices: Brian Moore International Tours reserves the right to adjust prices according to exchange rate fluctuations or any increase in vendor rates. Once deposit is received, Brian Moore International Tours will only pass on increases in government taxes.

Children: Children under 10 are not permitted to travel on coach tours. Children 10 or over are charged the full adult rate and must travel with an adult.

Passports/Visas: It is the sole responsibility of each passenger to obtain the necessary documents, such as passports and visas, for travel. Visa requirements do change without notice and vary by nationality. Please check with the consulate office of the destination country as to visa requirements.

Responsibility: Brian Moore International Tours and/or its agents act only as booking agents for railways, tourist boards, hotels, sightseeing vendors, car rentals and/or any other service in connection with the itineraries of individual or group travelers. Every reservation is accepted subject to the terms and conditions of the suppliers. Brian Moore International Tours shall not be liable for injury, damage, loss, accident, delay, irregularity, liability or expense to person or property due to an act or default by any company or person providing or rendering services included in the tour. Brian Moore International Tours and/or its agents accept no responsibility for any sickness, pilferage, labor dispute, machinery breakdown, government restraint, act of god, war, terrorism, weather condition, defect in vehicle or transportation or for any misadventure or casualty or any other circumstances beyond their control. The responsibility of any airline used is solely that set out in the passenger contract evidenced by the ticket. Airlines and other carriers are not responsible for any act, omission or event during the time passengers are not aboard their planes or conveyances. Brian Moore International Tours cannot be held responsible for variations in length or content of sightseeing.

Inquiries After the Tour: If after returning from the tour you wish to inquire about any tour services provided, please ensure that all correspondence relating to those services is received by BMIT in writing within 30 days after the tour completion date.
